This coin is modeled on a hand-struck two escudo doubloon, a type that was minted from 1651 to 1773. The top row shows one side of the coin and the bottom row shows the other. The quarter is shown for size comparison. It is one inch in diameter (2.5cm) — about the size of a quarter.

They are cast in zinc, which is then plated with ersatz gold or silver. They have either a shiny or antique finish. They are very solid and make a nice coin clinking sound.
