This is the third installment of three Pirates of the Caribbean movies starring Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush. In At World's End, the adventure begun in The Curse of the Black Pearl and Dead Man's Chest continues.

Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann are allied with Captain Barbossa in a desperate quest to free Captain Jack Sparrow from his mind-bending trap in Davy Jones' locker, while the terrifying ghost ship, The Flying Dutchman and Davy Jones, under the control of the East India Trading Company, wreaks havoc across the Seven Seas. Navigating through treachery, betrayal and wild waters, they must forge their way to exotic Singapore and confront the cunning Chinese Pirate Sao Feng. Now headed beyond the very ends of the earth, each must ultimately choose a side in a final, titanic battle, as not only their lives and fortunes, but the entire future of the freedom-loving Pirate way, hangs in the balance.

Some of us here at Dead Men Tell No Tales.com were fortunate enough to be invited to visit some of the absolutely amazing sets and were thrilled to meet Geoffrey Rush (Captain Barbossa) and Lee "Ello, poppet" Arenberg (Pentel) -- our two favorite pirates. Everything we saw was incredible, especially the Flying Dutchman and the Singapore set. The detail on the sets is phenomenal, partly because the art director previously designed the sets for A Series of Unfortunate Events and Sleepy Hollow (which won an Academy Award for set decoration).

Be sure to stay through all the credits at the end of the movie to see the short clip at the very end. All three movies had extra scenes after all the credits. The first film had a scene with Jack the monkey in the treasure cave. The second had one with the cannibals and the dog. And the third shows Will Turner's return to see Elizabeth and their son ten years later. Unfortunately some of the DVDs don't have these scenes.

And keep a weather eye out for Pirates of the Caribbean 4. It has a tentative release date of Spring 2010.
